Apologizing for not having written, citing the "wear and tear of getting my immense anthology finished" and a bout of influzenza; regretting that they missed each other in London and saying she plans to return probably in February; discussing at lenght her intention to begin teasing Dr. Lewis again by readdressing all her "semi-insane" to him; asking if she has seen Robert Graves's violent attack on Tom (Eliot), Ezra (Pound), Dylan (Thomas), etc.

Kenneth Clark was an art historian and a patron of the arts. He was born in London, and educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Oxford, where he gained a second class in modern history.
